If I read about one more public school shutting down.....

I will have to assume that our nations priority is NOT to teach the poor and middle class, but to use them as cannon fodder for the military or corporations. Also, if I'm to entertain some notion that our schools aren't teaching and leaving students behind and therefor must be shut down because they are not succeeding, then I want this damn war shut down with that same reasoning. These wars are not succeeding. Unless you call giving trillions of dollars to the weapons manufacture, pentagon, black water, and killing millions of people, but I don't.

Whatever agenda has been brewing for almost a decade with that plan "leave not child behind" nonsense it sure has been the underpinning for their big shovel to remove schools and teachers.

I feel like this plan is working nicely for these souls who sold our countries infrastructure off one generation at a time.

Back in the 50s' was when it started. I don't remember the particulars, but the writing of some financial elite laid out in detail how to dumb down the people to assure a compliant and subservient working class.
