Every time Tweety says another pro-lifer is going to vote for the healthcare reform bill, Stupak says, "oh, he wasn't one of my 12..." The 12 secret names in his pocket, he means.

I guess that means that all 12 of his conspirators are pro-choice, since all the pro-life ones are peeling away and voting yes? :) LOL!

I know that Bart’s good buddies at Focus on the Family and his pals the leading bishops are all on board with him to use the law to punish women for having vaginas and uteruses and using them in ways Bart doesn’t approve of. But as I recall, lying is one of those things that moral and upright folks aren’t supposed to engage in, either. Well, I’m sure Bart’s bishop pals will see fit to absolve him of his little venial sin in service of preventing a much more serious mortal sin.

But I have to wonder: How righteous does your cause have to be so that you can lie to further it? And doesn’t it sully the righteousness of the cause if you can’t be honest about it?
