Oops!... They're doing it again. False Intelligence flooding in about Iran
Edited on Tue Jan-30-07 08:45 AM by ck4829
Where have we seen stuff like this before? Oh yeah, with the Office of Special Plans and the Yellowcake Forgery.

Even though the CIA refuses to talk to him because he has been labeled as a "fabricator", the Bush Administration and the Neocons have lent their ears to Manucher Ghorbanifar and are using the things he says as 'Intelligence' against Iran.

Among the things that he has told them:
* That there is a secret stash of treasure that Saddam had buried somewhere inside Iran
* That the leaders of Al Qaeda (Sunni BTW), including Osama bin Laden, are also somewhere in the Shi'a dominated nation as well
* That Iran is seeking nukes

NOT go after that treasure? After all, they could care less about those other 2 things. But Treasure? Now, that's a different story! Greedy bastards that they be.

9. Saw that, it was disgusting. Breathless reporting of the latest "intelligence" of the
Iranian supplying of weapons to whatever the latest label might be..."insurgents"? "terrorists"? "radicals"? "IslamoFascists?" "freedom haters"?

"Hey, we're fucking refereeing at goddamn civil war! How the fuck can anyone know any damn thing, at this point?", shouted Lauer...

Oh, wait. He just asked for a bit more elaboration on the "supply lines" from Iran and a more detailed description of the "weapons" they're providing.

I must admit to a glimmer of humor as they are all forced to report on their collective complicity during the lead up to the Iraq occupation, as it emerges in the Libby trial. But, it sure isn't stopping them from cheering on Iraq, part deux. MKJ

10. The funniest bit of propoganda was when they mentioned that they had computer records! It reminds me
of the evidence of WMDs they found in Iraq about a couple of months after the invasion. And after they had the time to fudge the books.....

14. Both Yesterday and this a.m. CNN's Barbara Starr and that
reporter from the AEI were on drumming up the "Secret Government" about Iran paying for all the IED's killing our troops and for suicide bombers. They were breathlessly reporting both mornings the same information. I wonder how they can think we are so brainwashed that with Bush's poll numbers in the crapper that we will believe this stuff once again. Do they think we are Manchurian Candiates who have been programmed by "key words" repeated over and over? :eyes:

8. Fool us once, shame you you...
Fool us twice, shame on us.

It's too late for the chimp; the people are wise to him. We're smarter than they think we are. Just look at the last election for the evidence. :)

13. How much of the United States will be destroyed when the war is
moved from over there to right here on our shores!
World War I and World War II were fought elsewhere. Therefore we do not have any real life reminders as to the death and destruction war can bring.

Bu$h is fixing on changing that for us, U.S. Our military is not only not here, but it is strung out and war weary half way around the world.
What do we still have left to defend this country with? Reconstituted Cold War nuclear missiles? Yeah, that'll work real well with loose bands of terrorists going around blowing things up in our cities. Let's just hope bu$h doesn't decide to use them against the terrorists.

15. Congress passed the Iran Freedom Support Act
with only 21 Dems in the house voting against it,and 22 Democratic cosponsors in the senate...giving Bush the money for propaganda.

Our Congress gave Bush our tax dollars to use to lie to US!!!
