Howard, Bernie, Anthony, and Dennis all say this bill has flaws, but should PASS

Seriously... who are progressives going to believe anymore when they choose to disbelieve Howard Dean, Bernie Sanders, Anthony Weiner, and Dennis Kucinich?

Yes... the bill is not perfect.

But the above mentioned "Icons of the left" all say it should pass. Either:

A) They know something that you don't (namely.. the bill does more good than harm)

or

B) There are no people of principle left on the left. Every one of them is a corporate shill.

Do you really believe that Howard Dean is a corporate shill? Bernie Sanders? Anthony Weiner? Dennis Kucinich?

REALLY?

Are they *ALL* sellouts?

If you're still against passage of this bill, you have to come to the conclusion that all of them have sold out... that there are no leaders with integrity left on the left.

Is that the conclusion you've come to?

Howard Dean is the smartest person in the room in just about every room he enters, when it comes to public policy.

If Howard says the bill should pass, then dammit... the bill should pass.

3. It is not that black & white actually
There are many reasons Obama is getting support for this abomination of a bill. I think the foremost reason that he will get the votes is that he and his people brought this issue to a point where they offer holdouts the choice of destroying the Obama presidency or going along and getting something down the line. In short, most of these "icons" support this bill because they have been presented with a scenario where Obama is "all-in". I think some are getting suckered and others understand that defying Obama at this point will negate their influence on any initiatives or issues in the near future. Many are simply living to fight another day.

6. Definitely sell-outs and shills, at least temporarily. I may "rehabilitate" them in a week or two,
if they prove that their "selling out" and "shilling" were just temporary and that they are back to being the true progressives that I thought they were a week or two ago. (No, I will not entertain the possibility that they stuck with their beliefs throughout the HCR debate, pushed for their ideas to be included and, in the end, decided that supporting this bill was better than the alternative.) ;)
