O'Reilly pledges to match each sale of his book with a copy to a soldier.
I thought Imus was going to have a heart attack. He literally screamed, "Pull over to the side of the road, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!"

He said that Keith couldn't possibly say enough bad things about O'Reilly. He said O'Reilly should stick to making obscene phone calls to his staff.

It was hysterical. Imus (I know, he's a dipshit, but sometimes the show is too funny to turn off) was so offended by Billo's grand gesture, he literally couldn't speak for a few seconds, he was so livid.

7. They just replayed it and it was even funnier the second time.
Imus SHOUTING, "This is your grand gesture to the soldiers who are fighting and dying? To send them a copy of your stupid book?"
Imus literally lost his breath from frustration. It was priceless.

20. Sidekick Charles said, "That is, if he sells any."
They pretty much took old Billo over the coals this morning. It was better than bacon for breakfast. :)

the troops can use some light reading fiction. It will help take their minds off this bs for a brief moment.

16. Wow, O'Reilly really IS the new Gandhi
This rivals Limpbutt's getting his listeners to pay for Rush "24/7" memberships for the troops.

The self-sacrifice is... well, words fail me.

22. First thing, find out your local bookstore's policy on returns
then go and buy a shitload of his books ... just before the last day you can return the books ... return them.

That is, if it is less than the time that would be required to have O'Reilly send his copies to the troops ...

The books could not be sold by the book seller as "new" ...

26. Oh Mister I love the troops can't just ship over a ton of his
shitty books to the men and women who are dying for this country?

What has that terrible, lousy book been discounted to? About five bucks a copy?

And he has to set conditions on how these brave service people receive a copy?

What an ass hole.

For once, I agree with an Imus rant.

It really is outrageous.
