Poll question: DU Demographics: Education
We haven't done these in a while, and I'm back in my polling rut.

Please also see polls for age, race and income.

Thanks!

50. So true!
I have no college degree, although I do have some college, and a business school certificate. I'm sometimes ashamed of my lack of advanced education.

But I was never ashamed of my dad, who never even finished High School. He was one of the smartest people I've ever known.

He was a voracious reader, and no doubt learned everything he knew because of that. Fortunately, he passed his love of reading on to me.

Thank you Dad.

:)

Edited on Sat Mar-20-10 05:00 PM by Political Heretic
I'm waiting for the income poll...but I'm not sure I'll trust the results. Everyone want's to claim they are "middle class"

I reiterate again, I'm white and I'm a college graduate. I don't think that makes me less qualified to criticize classism or white privilege and its impacts on social and political discussion... I think it makes me more qualified (or "as" qualified) to be critical of such things. :)

34. I'm Not Sure..........
Does a J.D. (law degree) qualify as a "Post-Graduate Degree" or a "PhD equivalent"? I voted "Post-Grad," but then I wondered if that was technically right, because it DOES stand for "Juris Doctor." I see the word "doctor" right in there, so maybe it's the equivalent of a PhD.
