it would be hard to justify 10 aircraft carriers, 50 nuclear attack subs, a fleet of B-1 bombers, 35,000 troops in Korea, 50, troops in Germany, etc...

Not to mention, what would happen to the stock of Halliburton or Blackwater (or Xe or whatever nam there using now).

Defense spending is nothing but corporate welfare for defense contracters.

I'm having fits today that a small bunch of bigots gets coverage..
republickers have press events to LIE..
cnn, faux, carrying hcr(yawn)
while m$nbc is on their wk-end sick-freak agenda..
& the cspans are carrying the hcr(yawnnn..)debate & comte meeting..

timing IS everything.
On hell's anniversary, they suddenly have TIME to push hcr.

But there are awesome VETERANS & Military FAMILIES & concerned Others,
outside the White House,this moment, demanding PEACE.
MY GOD..THEY are beautiful.
