First Term Democrat Nye voting against health bill

I am confused because I heard someone in the Daily Kos say earlier that he is voting Yes.

It sucks that the article doesn't have the time when it was posted. The first reader's comment accompanying the article was posted around 9:30 pm though, which seems to indicate that the article was posted around that same time; which would mean that Nye just recently announced his intention to vote No.

has anyone noticed what Hillary's done or said on this issue? I don't perceive anything, and since she was into the issue up to her eyeballs back in 1993, I find the relative silence significant.

My guess? She wants to make sure that if this bill passes, none of her fingerprints are on it for 2016. Or 2012.

As for Tricare, is that a fabricated reason, I wonder. If so, they all could be.

10. Tricare is for...

All military retirees and their dependents and active duty dependents. Active duty service men and women are covered separately by each branch of service. When my husband was active duty Navy, I was covered under what was then called CHAMPUS. CHAMPUS was renamed TRICARE in 1995 when the entire system was revamped. Now we are both covered under TRICARE and we have a TRICARE supplement to cover the 20% that is not covered under TRICARE. It is a decent plan and I have few complaints about coverage.

CHAMPUS was renamed TRICARE in 1995. There is no more CHAMPUS, just TRICARE (it's the same thing). Hope my explanation brings some clarity.

as of 2 hours ago, he was still undecided. I won't waste the call on this loser. I will not be voting for Nye in November. The bottom line is that this is a very Republican district, full of Navy and Marine Corps retirees who are very conservative and he's afraid that he will lose their vote in November if he votes Yes on the Health care bill. Beyond disappointing for me!
