6. Either would work. DADT plays on the repubs' homophobia, immigration reform on their racism.

Either will keep them fired up and frothing at the mouth. EFCA and financial reform should be on the agenda between now and November, too. Keep them on the defensive and show that we can govern.

3. I turn 47 years old this month...

and I now refer to the Dem HCR as the biggest defeat for the Republicans in my lifetime.
Usually I get a response that states this is not the biggest defeat, so I then ask what is a bigger defeat than HCR.

Then they'll be hitting their rabid base for so many donations all at once, that the Freepturds will go broke.

Once in financial ruin, they'll have to face how the other half lives, and that's the one thing sure to make a person vote Democratic.

I'm only half-joking here...though they'll never donate themselves into poverty, hitting them with several issues at once WOULD put a hell of a strain on the Repukes' coffers.
