...because nobody, and i mean NOBODY, is asserting that this effort is over, that there aren't more things to do.

I think the argument is whether or not this bill does more harm than good.

And, if you'll entertain an analogy:

Physicians are admonished to "first do no harm".

How do you reconcile that with the common medical practice of cutting through perfectly healthy tissues to get to an appendix, spleen, or heart?

This reform is major surgery.

Please do your part to make it successful, the decision has been made and, really, criticizing it un-constructively is not helpful.

Write congress.

We demand REAL HEALTH CARE REFORM not AN INSURANCE PROFITEERING BILL. I pay for my own insurance-the very same kind that millions will now be required by law to pay for-and I know that it does NOTHING to increase access to health care or make it more affordable (which is why I finally dropped it; over 78k on premiums with only $200.00 in claims paid is no bargain!). YOU should be the one getting your ass in gear to fight for the kind of reform that WE have been calling for ALL ALONG!
