10. The Juice Man who sold the juicer on the infomercial from the nineties was orange too.

Someone I knew who was in medical school at the time told me it was probably because he was getting too much of a certain vitamin that is present in carrots and is fat-soluble so that your body can't get rid of the excess as easily as certain other vitamins. He said that the Juice Man was bragging that he drank a bag of carrots a day right on the commercial, and the med student was like "I eat a bag of carrots in a week!"

I thought it was funny that this guy wasn't putting two and two together and finding out why he was orange, when even a little kid would say something like "maybe he's orange because he eats so many carrots."
