Do you think that there are 51 non-corporatist in the Senate?
This website http://www.workingfamiliesparty.org/ http://whipcongress.com/ claims that there were enough votes to pass hcr with a public option.

Do you really believe that there are 51 non-corporatist in the Senate? If so, why didn't we (the Dems) pass the public option?

3. I disagree
I have full and complete faith in H. Bernie Sanders. I really think he is a stand up guy.

7. I would say he's better than most, for sure
but I also think it is literally impossible to get to that position without favoring one corporation or another.

8. Ya know, this country is not all that friendly for folks with that
opinion. It's a constant source of frustration and despair if you hold that belief. I'm surprised you can stand living in such a place.

11. I can't stand living in such a place, if you must know
and am doing everything in my power to extricate my self from said 'place' as quickly as possible, I assure you.

15. Ah, that I cannot do. I have too little of it at present to
spend on others' idle fantasies. I have a large health insurance payment to make. Thankfully, it is my last before my Medicare Effective Date.

Do, please, let me know, however, if there is anything non-monetary I can do to hasten your exit from this nation you hate so.

16. LOL... I was being facetious, of course
and would never accept such a donation.

It's not the nation that I hate. It's all the zealots.

Someone famous said that, I think.

2. why didn't we (the Dems) pass the public option?
Because Obama didnt want it to be included in the final bill.

It would have undermined his back room deal with the insurance industry to keep it out.

12. Oh, right. That NYT piece that used reporters as sources. Newsflash:
NYT said there were WMD in Iraq. NYT had to retract its Acorn story. Good grief.

6. Think willingness was overstated, and possible House wouldn't have been able to send fix.
Lots more volatile, endangering to actual first step.
