Why are the Republicans and the right-wingers so pissed off ??
They're spitting on people. They are yelling epithets at Congressmen. They are throwing bricks thru the windows of Democratic offices. They are threatening to kill the children of people that voted against the "reform". They are threatening to bring their guns to Washington, DC.

Why?

If it is such a trivial matter, then why are these right-wingers acting like savages?

Why do they think they can use "politics" as an excuse to break the law?

Are they being egged-on by the likes of FOX-TV and the National Republican Committee??

31. they're ready with the talking points ...
he treats them like humans ... "He's putting them in as citizens so that the his backer unions get new members!"

he gets them out of the country ... "Now you're going to see $10/head lettuce, because U.S. workers won't do the work." (Um, weren't they predicting $10/gallon gas under a Dem, instead of McCain? After Bush's $4/gallon gas?)

3. *******
The Republicans will stay angry for a long time. They have no intention of reaching ‘acceptance.’ But they have no chance of undoing these reforms, and they will soon realize that a huge percentage of what future congresses will do will be to provide oversight and adjustments to the health care system. The government will be constantly looking for ways to make health care plans more consumer friendly and less costly to the budget. They will not be trying to take health care away from people.

The longer it takes the Republicans to realize this, the more credit the Democrats will get for having passed these reforms. When Republicans complain about the mandate and score political points, the Democrats will offer to create a public option as the only solution to the problem. They are trapped.

This is precisely why they fought against even these modest reforms. We do live in a different country today than we did yesterday. It’s a country that has no use for the old Republican Party.

8. You Have To Understand...............
............the right-wing screamers who tell their lemmings what to think have all told them that these things the Democrats are doing are going to be the END OF THE WORLD. Not just a bad idea, but literally THE END OF THE WORLD. When you believe that your world is coming to an end, you'll do a lot of crazy things.

That's why I blame Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and all the other dancing monkeys on Faux News. They know that only stupid, panicky, easily-led people are attracted to their crap, and they play right into their fears. When you whip the mindless up into a frenzy, you get what you have seen lately. It's irresponsible broadcasting. Not only do they KNOW that they're scaring people to the point of irrational panic, they're actually HOPING a few of their lemmings actually goes off the deep end and does something stupid.

I think that if any of these Teabagger nuts and/or right-wing mouth-breathers actually crosses over into committing violent acts, or even does the unthinkable, that all the right-wing screamers should be charged criminally as complicit. The stuff they're pulling is as close to shouting fire in a crowded theater as I've ever seen.

28. It's not just because he is black.....
...it's because he is black AND BETTER THAN ANY CANDIDATE THEY HAVE HAD SINCE LINCOLN! THAT, my friend, is why they hate him. HE is smarter and has more charisma than St. Ronny, and people relate to him. The average American cannot relate to the Bushes, the Cheneys and the Romneys. They can identify with the Obamas, the Clintons and the Bidens, because they champion causes of the common man and not the common billionaire.

29. It's even simpler: There's a government
Those People want government to do one thing: keep brown people away from them. Teabaggers would privatize the fire service if they could--and if your house burned down, it would be because you didn't work hard enough to afford fire insurance. They would privatize roads and make people pay to drive on the street in front of their own homes. And they don't want to pay taxes, even for the military.

That there's a government at all is enough to make them scream bloody murder.

22. Simple. They lost & they're lousy loosers! Look at McNuts as an example.
He lost the election and he's been pouting, bitching & moaning ever since. Now he wants the people of AZ to reelect him for a term where he will be 80 yo at the end, and on top of that, he says he's not going to work on anything anymore because the Dems passed the HC bill!

The whole crowd are really sore loosers and vindictive too!

It's mostly the poor they want to kill off. Look at the news and you'll see violent attacks on the homeless increasing. Being poor in America anymore is nearly as bad as being a Jew in Germany in the year 1938.

27. Because the Republicans are in the minority, and have been shown that unequivocally

They have gone from first to worst, and they still think they should be in charge. President Obama has slapped the Republicans down, and then rubbed their faces in the dirt.

The Republicans are going to lose their lawsuits to stop the Health Care bill, and they will lose in the November mid term elections.

The future is not going to be pleasant, but it sure will be fun watching the 'Pukes get what is coming to them

30. They are beginning to come to grips with
just how badly they lost the last election. First comes denial, then comes anger and rejection, next comes bargaining, and finally comes acceptance. I do not know if we will get to acceptance in Obama's first term.

The "party of no" and "waterloo" stuff was denial, because it was premised in the notion that they still had the power to effect outcomes. Having lost HCR, the illusion of power and control is stripped away, so now we have anger and rejection, a dangerous phase. Next comes bargaining, where they try to retain some vestige of power through deal making. This phase probably will not start until and unless they lose in November. It is the reason we need to assure that they are again defeated.

32. Hey! I've said the same thing about Code Pink for years!
To reiterate:
Why do they think they can use "politics" as an excuse to break the law?
In a Democracy if you don't like the people in power, put on your walking shoes, canvas your districts, and convince voters to throw them out. Breaking the law, especially breaking the law just to be an
obnoxious asshole, is fundamentally undemocratic.

It's also counterproductive, as these teabaggers (and thousands of code-pinkers) will likely never acknowledge to themselves, but everyone else sees as clear as day.
