Virginia has at least two that I think are self identifying as tea-party. The other four are at least paying lip service to the tea party supporters. Wouldn't be terribly surprised though, if we ended up with a tea-bagger running as an indy, which would be great for our party.

Despite their vocal dipshittary, they're a relativly small chunk of the population. Witness the recent size (or lack thereof) of their "big" rallies against healthcare. The latest nation wide call to arm turned out about 300-500 tea baggers in D.C. to whine against health care.

Hopefully they will Ross Perot this election for the Republicans.

16. Christine O'Donnell is running against Mike Castle in the repuke primary senate race here

O'Donnell is a joke and typical teabagger. She still owes about $20k from previous senate runs (She ran against Biden in 2008 for senate. He didn't even bother campaigning in the state and still got 65% of the vote). She also is in trouble with the IRS and almost lost her house to forclosure (she luckily got a campaign staffer to buy it). She now rents a $2k townhome and uses campaign funds for half of it claiming it's her campaign office.

She's a joke. Oh she's a 32 year old woman who claims she's a virgin, claims Ben Affleck hit on her and is now living with a man who she says there is no relationship between them. She lies just like any other teabagger does.

24. A couple of corrections

Fist, she is 40, not 32. She ran in the Republican Senate Primary in 2006. You have to be 30 to be a Senator. The thing is that many of her voters will not, under any circumstances vote for Castle in the General Election, and she will attract a large portion of the Republican Base (independents cannot vote in primary elections in DE). This could suppress the independent and Republican conservatives, which could aid the Democrat in the General election.

I was off with the age, my bad. But she was also Biden's opponent in 2008. There was a big stink that some idiots thought the 2nd place finisher in the election should get the seat if Biden steps down (yeah constitution never meant much to these folks). Also when I would drive home from work I would pass her old house on Lincoln Avenue. It was funny - the street was awashed in Biden signs and her house was plastered with O'Donnell. Even the neighborhood wouldn't vote for her.

Woman hasn't had an original thought in her head for 30+ years that someone from the RNC didn't keep repeating for her until it stuck.

Fortunately, there's a good Democrat running this year with a decent chance to finally unseat her if the tea-bagger can pull enough votes away from her. Actually given the polarity up here, I could see the Dem and Teabagger being the top vote getters

my Democratic congressman (an author of the house hcr bill) is being targeted big time by the GOP, especially since the Burger King governor won his district in November 2009. THere's currently a two way primary to unseat him--- one candidate is a Wall Street billionaire's wife who does not live in the district and the other is a teabagging mayor.

As far as I know no Democrat is challenging him, but I'd vote for him regardless. Part of me would love to mess with the Republican primary, but since I will be on the Democratic ticket in the primary (running for county committee), I really want to vote for myself
