that would make a drive-in theater jealous. Who started this shit, Blecch? It was you and your repulsive ilk who are even yet attempting to whip up a frenzy among your cretinous viewers and listeners. I know it doesn't work this way, but if the federal government were to put out a 'hit' on you, I could make a case for it being self-defense.

Persecuted for his righteous beliefs. He's a mormon, they love to be seen as the persecuted victims. I think they think it lends credibility to their cause. He would love to pretend he may have to go out in a blaze of righteous, martyrdom. The reality is that it's all a red herring.

He's not worth a rusty bullet, or a bent ice pick IMHO. Give him nose-a-tweek and let him wallow with his epic failure buddy tea baggers.

30. Mormons like to see themselves as victims?
Do you realize what a bigoted statement that is? How dare you disparage a group of people who follow a religion started by a huckster, con man and convicted felon. Do you think it's ok to speak ill of an entire group of people who campaigned aganst the happiness of others (gay marriage in CA)? Do you think you can just disrespect any religion with a well-documented history of blatant discrimination against black people?

How dare you.

9. Just like when Cheney said that reports in England signaled that
Iraq had nuclear weapons. Of course the English reports were planted by Cheney. As always, establish a red herring.

Here we have Democratic officials and their families receiving death threats, so Beck suggests that the administration wants him dead, so he can balance and belittle the threats to the Democrats.

I cannot believe that more than 15% of Americans buy into this crap. Sadly, a conservative I used to respect has thrown moderate Republicans under the bus. His latest toss was Grassley of Iowa. The radical right now has a litmus test for its candidates. I can hardly wait for the election just to find out where our country stands. Hopefully the teabaggers will get solid message of rejection from the voters.

Glen should be held to the rules of journalism if he insists on presenting shows as study guides. If he doesn't he should be considered un-credible and a warning label should show on the screen warning that the things presented on this show have little or no factual basis.

13. I tend to see this as probably more sinister than it appears
Beck and his ilk are not independent, to me. Nor do I assume they are anything more than actors and yet, they know full well that they will be confused with something that is serious and of their own making. I think more people on this side of the carpet get that.

That being said, who or what are behind the shows? We can assume that the media conglomerate's executives and producers are involved to some degree.

When you think about it, these kinds of gas-bag spewing commentators, (Beck, Limbaugh, Coulter, etc.) may be good for ratings, but they clearly should be embarrassing and an obvious threat to the veracity and stature of the hosting stations and media outlets. So, they may get ratings and push product, but I really don't think this is all that innocent.

I just question this, now that we see the violence bating gearing up. It all smacks a little of a new version of the Brown Shirts and gee, I wouldn't put it past the Wealthy and Elite owners to play a hand like this. I mean, they have groups of zombies, (not thinking or checking) to manipulate and whip into a froth.

You an pass this off as conspiracy theory, but after all these years, the misinfo and disinfo that a handful of popular talking heads have been spewing, (as very serious and believable actors) has someone on the top condoning the agitprop. The question is, do they also provide a rough script of what should be portrayed?

(which AFAIK) has never been brought to closure, the IG investigation of it 18+ months ago a complete sham, and no media CEO heads rolled for participation in that, either..

That was all much slicker, though. Beck is having what appears to be a very rapid *overt* meltdown.
I'd be surprised if he doesn't get sent on some unused vacation days sometime very soon.

18. No, Mr. Beck. No one wants to kill you.
In fact, no one wants to hurt you.

We really don't want you to hurt yourself, either. That's why we put padding on the walls. And that jacket with the buckles in the back; that's again a measure to ensure you don't hurt yourself.

In the meantime, we have some lovely crafts for you to consider. Basket weaving is nice; I like baskets, don't you? Sure, you do. Now, let's be nice about taking our medicine and not biting the nurses, Mr. Beck.

----------------------------------------

In truth, I am not sure whether Glenn Beck is insane or is merely portraying insanity for profit. He may be quite sane and acting a part. Either way, he's extremely dangerous, because some people watch his program and buy into every word.

40. This is what I'm thinking.
Glenn Beck is a former morning zoo host. He's made a career of being outrageous. Like Ann Coulter, I don't think he actually believes what he spews. He's selling a product: insane hatred, fueled by ideological fervor. The problem here is the problem with Coulter: there are some people, not that many but some, who are stupid enough or gullible enough to believe it.

Glenn Beck is a dangerous, dangerous man. I don't think he's really crazy. He is certainly aware of what he's doing, and how harmful he is being. If he's able to distinguish right from wrong, legally, he's sane and able to stand trial. Crazy, perhaps not. Evil, absolutely.

44. Beck's standard modus operandi - projection
We may laugh and call him crazy but the guy is dangerous as long as he has a microphone. Because he whips up the stupid people of this country into a wild-eyed frenzy. The proper way to remove him from the airwaves is to expose him for the manipulative weasel that he is and and hope that enough people realize he's a worthless, lying scumbag not worth their time.

Honestly, how often can someone listen to a known liar? Apparently there's no limit judging by the tea-baggers. But the reality of their gullibility is just too damn obvious. They want respect but have none. They want to be heard but talk nonsense. They want to be taken seriously but act like fools. I'd laugh but I'm too disgusted right now by their obscene behavior.
