The American public 'may not' like HCR, but

they dislike the violence and vile rhetoric even more. Only 13% identify with the TPs. The Rethugs are guaranteeing that their party may stay in the minority for a long time.

The points they are trying to get across about mandates and such are being drowned out by the inflammatory things seen daily now. The independents are moving away faster and faster.

If this level continues and escalates and ONE person gets hurt, it will taint them beyond all measure. That would seal their image as a party not just of NO, but of hate and violence. They will have a hard time ever shaking it.

The idiots in Congress and other 'leaders' of the party have lost any claim to be legitimate representatives who want to work for the good of the nation. They are obstructing everything and not offering any bills or ideas that have merit. This point should also be used by the Dems.

The other thing they have guaranteed is a real turnout of Democrats in the 2010 elections. The elections might have been a time that Dems sat home displeased about this and that. Instead, the Rethugs have shown that the vote is about more than HCR. It is about how America's government should function and should be framed as such.

They will reap the whirlwind.
