The GOP and Teabaggers should be classified as hate groups

They are the modern day equivalents of the KKK, anyone who doesn't see that is in either major denial or probably a KKK sympathizer and supporter. It is amazing that this issue isn't getting more press. A democrat can call a republican "bitter" and they will whine and cry and demand an apology. It gets covered by the media day and night. Meanwhile republicans are making death threats, vandalizing property, making racial slurs, inciting violence, and actually carrying out death threats (cutting that congressman's brothers gas line), and it gets covered only marginally. The GOP and Teabaggers are hate groups, pure and simple. They are terrorists no different than any other terrorist group.

2. The KKK comparison is not correct

Using hyperbole is what they do.

First of all we don't know who cut the gas line. It sure wasn't the GOP or even the teabaggers as a whole. These are probably acts done by individuals or very small groups. Talk is one thing and action is another.

The KKK is a terrorist group who have murdered many black people throughout their history. So far the Teabaggers aren't murdering anyone as a group.

4. Then some progressive groups may have to be classified according to their worst denominator

Let's call them what they are - slimy, lying, hateful, greedy elitist Republicans.
