Poll question: I told DNC, DSCC, DCCC no more money from me without a public option--should keep my promise?

I still plan to give to individual candidates who I know will fight for a progressive agenda, but I can't trust the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee, or the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee to only give my money to to candidates who will look out for my interests, not blue dogs and DLCers who are looking for a corporate payday--hell those guys will be swimming in corporate cash anyway after that Supreme Court decision.

Should I keep my promise and only give to individuals and not to those broader campaign committees?

1. I think donating to individuals is a better way to go. All of the individuals...

pass on part of their hard money to the DNC, DSCC, and the DCCC anyway.

2. Honestly, I think it's a good idea regardless of what your

motivation is. Overall I think the health bill is a good first step - but I've always preferred to give to individual candidates instead of the committees. Not only can you avoid giving money to DLCers, you let the candidate know that that much more of their money is coming from *the people*. I think candidates have a tendency to think of DSCC/DCCC money as "party money", since corporate contributions are lumped in there as well, and not really think of it as including support from individuals.

JUST FOR PASSING THIS BILL!! For the first time my disabled son NOW has insurance. Those blue dogs as much as I think they are jerks, many filled their votes and supported HCR bill. The DNC AND DCCC said "If you don't vote for HCR, they will not give them help for re-election.
