Republicans always try to justify by spewing - "BOTH SIDES DO IT"!
Edited on Thu Mar-25-10 01:57 PM by GreenTea
In the extremely rare times the media actually questions the republicans on their disgusting indirect/direct encouraging of violent acts – The republicans tactic and plan of attack is always the same, to simply excuse it away by stating...."Well come on, both sides do it".

Republicans will even make up or try to find and use some obscure thing that others have done to try and justify the republicans own childish vindictiveness for the threatening, fear evoking outrageous acts encouraged by the republicans for their supporters, purposely designed to force the republicans narrow ideology by intimidation.

Never do the republicans outright denounced these bullying acts of violence without trying to justify their obvious manipulations with some bullshit stipulations as they always point the finger away from themselves.

Frustrated arrogant infantile republicans despicably seek to nullify everything they've encouraged the hatred & violence, merely by lying, while saying well, "BOTH SIDES DO IT". Every question ever put to the republicans is the same tactics, insinuations towards others...."Don't blame us, uh, we had nothing to do with it, and anyway, the democrats do it too".

Always the republicans method of attack, to divert and defuse the allegations by pointing their slimy fingers elsewhere, tactics are all Republicans have to offer, NEVER truth....Believing their lies will justify their not so subtle encouraging of destructive & senseless acts that offers the greedy elitist republicans such vindictive hateful arrogant pleasure.

3. Worse is when liberal agree with them
I can't count the number of times I've heard liberals on TV or radio add that caveat, presumably to appear more "rational" or something, when all it really is is a lie.

A=they did it

B=we did it

C=wrong

A=C

B=C

And yet somehow...

A+B=/=C

7. AND IT WORKS. And Cantor's claim has to receive equal time
which is utter bs and a huge part of the media problem. SO now Eric Cantor's report of being fired at receives the same weight as Beck, Rush, Palin, and all of the violence and death threats aimed at democrats.

9. yeah, Boortz was saying how Newt got threats, he's had threats, etc
Of course, he left out that certain prominent "conservatives" seem to be INCITING people to threaten Democrats, and providing the tools to do it more effectively. Like crosshairs.

10. which is all the more reason why we need to make our stand clear.
Threats and acts of violence and intimidation is WRONG.

If we claim that it isn't happening, or it is self-directed, we are no better than them, and we are perpetuating it.

Do we as Democrats agree collectively that this is wrong? Is it only wrong when it's done against us?

Do we really think no person who might claim connection with our party is incapable of doing something terrible and wrong?

Our Leaders don't advocate violence or intimidation. This is a good time to state that fact in no uncertain terms.
