In the good ole days I used to be the guy who memorized Robert's rules.
Watching C-Span now I wonder how many times with all of the confusing ammendments and rules that I would vote 'aye' for 'nay'.
Harry its not full blown "Alls-heimers" its the less known "Half-heimers".

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid got "caught up in the moment again" and accidentally voted against the reconciliation "fixes" bill before the Senate on Thursday, his spokesman Jim Manley confirmed. The senator from Nevada quickly realized his error, bent his head toward his hands, looked around, waved his hands in apology and clarified that yes, he really mean to vote aye.
"He did it again!" exclaimed a female voice caught on the C-SPAN tape.
It was the second time Reid has accidentally voted against the health-care bill, whose passage has been his major legislative preoccupation all year.
On Christmas Eve, Reid also slipped up during the crucial Democratic supermajority-vote and weighed in with a no that he quickly switched to an aye, also to the amusement of his colleagues.
"To be honest, I'd like to say I was trying to be funny or create some bipartisanship," Reid told the New York Times at the time. "But I was just in dreamland, thinking about where we had come. Some said 'oh bipartisanship or trying to be funny.' It was neither quite frankly. It was just, I am bushed."
The reconciliation fixes bill passed the Senate on Thursday by a 56-43 vote and returns to the House for a final vote on two small changes.
