Now they're just a "tank".
He's not always right, but at least Frum was intellectual and could argue his point of view convincingly.

1. Frum will get a job at one of the Networks |
|
and continue to push the RW agenda from the Bush wing. He will be the new Representative of the so called moderate ReTHUG. Hopefully DUers will remember that he's a fucking neo-con and is worried that their RW loonies have destroyed the agenda of people like him. Fuck all of them.

2. there's other people thinking, but they're too cowardly to talk |
|
Frum said that they all support Obamacare but the GOP is telling them to keep their mouths shut.
So we know that whoever's left at AEI is a coward.

4. I think Frum was deliberately burning his bridge to the GOP |

Some less than scrupulous people want to be on the side they perceive to be the winner, and Im thinking the little weasel wants to find a way into a Democratic Party think tank because he thinks it will have a longer future.

5. If Frum is the "think" in the AEI "think tank" there sure as hell was not |
|
much thinking going on there. Maybe a lot of drinking which ended up with them all tanked, but not much else.

7. He's certainly getting a crash course in where conservative philosophy leads. |
|
I wonder if this will cause him to rethink his views about politics in general.

Norm Ornstein is brilliant and an expert on Congress. If he's conservative, I couldn't hear it when he used to appear once a week on the radio show of his best friend - Al Franken.
