Question - Who is pulling strings of Rush/Beck/Cantor et al? Fox? Rove?

Who are the men behind the curtain? I have seen a couple of posts here about how Fox is defending and spreading Rep. Cantor's lie about the gun shot to his office, but it was all a choreographed "dance" yesterday, and I would like to know who is the head honcho that sends these "messages" out? Really - I was in my car yesterday and wanted to hear the news and weather so I turned our local AM station on and Beck was still on and was going on and on about it being the Democrats faults that violence was happening - Then Rushy Nut comes on and he immediately starts in with the same message - Then I hear Rep. Cantor come on and he says the same thing! It was like W was still around and Rove was pulling the strings!

I am so pissed that these idiots can spew this crap even with police reports that show that the violence is real! I just posted a reply on the DU post about the road rage in TN with the 10-yr-old girl in the car because of a bumper sticker some nut job saw! If this is the Republican Party of 2010 how can anyone with any decency and intelligence support this? I heard Frum was fired yesterday too because he was being honest and this is the very person the Repub's need to support if they want to get back some credibility! Is there any hope someone will stand up and speak the truth?

A CRC handler was sitting right next to her and she started her water works when
Lindsey Grahamn was giving her husband softball question but that night the
news was about those mean dems asking all those nasty questions to good old Sam
Allito. CRC was ready with press releases w/ in minutes of her "running from the
room in tears" because of the treatment of Sam. CRC was able to change the
face of the hearings from looking @ Sam's conflict of interest ?s in his rulings and that
he helped to found an organization that tried to keep women and blacks out of
Princeton.

Everybody in the media knows about CRC but nobody says a thing so as not to
mess up "the gravy train" to former media types.

That is the thing I love most about DU, I am always learning something. There are some people on here that know so much more then I could ever learn myself and I love hearing from them. I didn't see the background info so thanks for posting that and also the contributors. It does all make sense doesn't it that big corporations would have their hand in it! Maybe you should post this for others to see. Good job!

17. DU post of the day! This is very important - for it seems that the powers running the GOP/Media

are hellbent on making it appear to the ignorant masses that the Democrats are attacking them now! Which only stokes up more anger and violence from these ill-minded buffoons who are tossing bricks, calling in threats that say people should die a horrible death, and cutting gas lines!

I seriously believe Faux should be sanctioned by the FCC for inciting, because the story is false they're promoting and they are the company that continually stokes fear against Obama.

All I can keep thinking, based on the emails I get from some very paranoid former co-workers from over the years, is they must really believe he's not an American. I don't think it's just that he's "black" to them, it's the fear of the Muslims and that he may be a foreign man hellbent on destroying their way of life - when their way of life was destroyed a ton by Reagan, Bush I, a bit by Clinton, and heavily by Bush II.

As right wing ideas usually come with big money and big wheels behind them, this one made it into law in Massachusetts – widely known (and loathed) as Romneycare.....in a visit at the GOP retreat Obama lets them know that:

The component parts of this thing are pretty similar to what Howard Baker, Bob Dole, and Tom Daschle proposed at the beginning of this debate last year.
