"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?"
Are we fighting a war on terror? It seems more than apparent that we are fighting a war being waged on the Iraqi people - you know, the people we allegedly "liberated"? I guess because it was Islamic people who attacked on 9-11, we have to wage war on ALL Islamic people - just like we have to wage war on all Christians because some of them blow up abortion clinics. You can't be too careful these days. > > Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?
They sure were. Maybe that could have been avoided, had Bush and his administration buddies listened to the intelligence agents who warned them of the potential of such an event being imminent. I guess a briefing memo headed "Bin Laden Intent on An Attack in the United States" was just too vague to be taken seriously. > > Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they? > Yes, they did. Bin Laden should be made to pay for that -- oh, I forgot. Bush declared years ago that "he doesn't really think about him much anymore", and stopped looking for him. And I was SO SURE Bush wasn't lying for a change when he spouted all of that 'dead or alive' stuff.
> And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?
Well, most people respect other people's religious beliefs -- unless, of course, they're pig-ignorant low-lifes. > Well, I don't. I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
Didn't you hear? Bush said he's NOT IMPORTANT ANY MORE.
I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle Eaststart caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia
Yeah, you wouldn't want a bunch of religious fanatics having that kind of influence over government policy, would you now? That's why I am so glad Bush doesn't allow the Fundies to get anywhere near him. > I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.
Did you enjoy the video? Sure sounds like you got REALLY INTO IT! You must have watched it over, and over, and over. > > I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraqcome out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.
I just don't understand how US troops can't find those insurgents and get 'em, being as they're all hiding in their mosques all the time. Oh, by the way, some of them prefer being called 'Iraqi citizens' who want their country back. > > I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.
I hear ya! It's a blessing that not a single Iraqi child has been killed, maimed, wounded or orphaned by our own military. > > I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.
Maybe the media just doesn't respect the Constitution any more -- they probably figure that since the president doesn't, they don't have to either. > > In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.
And if that same marine is 'roughed up' by an Iraqi, he's got it comin' because what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. > > When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured that I don't care.
You must have attended a VERY, VERY TOUGH college! No wonder you're thinking is so fuzzy - it's probably severe brain-damage as a result of a 'hazing incident'. > > When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank that I don't care.
And if he's not a wounded terrorist, but an innocent man who gets shot in the head, that's okay, too. Shit happens. > > When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.
And that 'special' food can cost plenty, too. Have you seen what Halliburton charges the US taxpayers for the crap they feed our soldiers, not to mention the contaminated water they charged an arm and a leg for! > > And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and ---- you guessed it - - I don't care !
I am AMAZED you can spell anything -- you must be much smarter than you sound - God knows, you couldn't possibly be any dumber.
