Sometimes a private DU e-mail can make you cry

It happened to me just now. I have never tried to hide my real world identity here among my many friends. Somebody just shared their story with me. I can't reveal the contents of any private e-mail. But I can tell you I cried out of empathy for another DU regular.

8. i have had that too. we hear so little of who the poster is by comments on posts in threads

then to get a private message and hear the pain, and sadness, or frustration and anger.... and i see the person in a whole new light. and how little we know on these short, small, informationless posts we judge so much on.
