Scuffle between protestor and supporter at McCain rally


Sarah Palin, John McCain in Tucson, Arizona, March 26, 2010 (CNN) MESA, AZ -- John McCain and Sarah Palin continued their reunion tour with a stop in Mesa Saturday, but the rally turned violent outside.

Palin implored Arizona to "send the maverick back to the United States Senate."

But just as Palin took the podium, hecklers began to disrupt the former Alaska governor.

Witnesses said one of the hecklers was pulled up by the hair by a McCain/Palin supporter.

As police took the man -- who said his name is Alex -- out of the auditorium, a supporter pushed his head to the sidewalk as officers tried to separate the two.

Showed the cops breaking up the fight and removing the protester from the scene. Of course without context of his prior behavior I can't really make a judgement on it.

I've been following some of these tea partiers and many are Libertarians. They do not like McCain and most don't take too kindly to Palin either. They are pissed that the GOP has hijacked the tea party movement.

And speaking of "violent," it isn't the "Left" that is using inflammatory, hate-filled rhetoric, often times alluding to potentially violent "solutions" to policy issues/disputes in this country. That would be Palin and the Teabaggers.

It wasn't the "Left" openly toting guns around at healthcare reform rallies and outside of Obama appearances. That, again, would be your average Right wing-nut Palin supporter and closet-Klansman (now unfortunately coming out of the closet).
