Repeal NAFTA and the Dem Party will be unstoppable in November.
Time for new Fair Trade policies instead.

Imagine the tidal wave of support for our party if Congress presented President Obama with repeal legislation awaiting his signature into law in say Sept or early Oct.

Dems would be unstoppable in November.

Job creation=Populist support=election victory.

Tossing a real bone to the middle class, poor, and unemployed is also the right thing to do for the people.

The same people that elect Democrats.

1. Really?
What - like maybe 10 to 15% of the population has some idea of how it impacts their lives.

I don't think its repeal would be a big political home rum.

4. I think we are working hard on jobs, and I think it will show some effect very soon -
I think by 2012, the GOP will be holding its convention in a post office box.

7. I'm aware of what they're doing and would like to ask you how you think it will
help with jobs? I'm not looking for a gotcha, I won't even reply if you like, I just think you are one of the thinkers here and since I don't see how their measures help anyone that needs it, I'm curious about how think they will.

6. Give frogs wings and they might not bump their asses after they jump.
Are you serious? "If Congress presented President Obama with repeal legislation..." And that's likely to happen why? Is it because "our" party is more invested in US than it is corporations who make bank by moving operations out of the US in order to save money on labor costs?

it won't happen. If anything we'll probably be entering more one-sided free trade agreements in the future.

Edited to add: Funny thing is, most middle class Republicans hate NAFTA and China's MFN status to an alarming degree. If we tried to repeal it and remove China's MFN status, the cognitive dissonance of them being forced to watch their party fight to keep jobs overseas would be awesome.
