Haha!! 53 Cars Towed From UCF During Glenn Beck event

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Dozens of people who parked at the University of Central Florida for an event say they were set up after their cars were towed. They said event parking signs directed them to a lot, but more than 50 cars in that lot were towed. People said those signs and their cars were gone when they got back.

A viewer contacted WFTV after his car was towed Saturday, along with 52 others. All of them were in line to recover their cars at an impound lot and all of them attended the Glenn Beck show at UCF.

The people parked in a Kappa Sigma lot. Mike Vedder thinks they were set up. He doesn't know if it was a dislike of the conservative commentator or money.

Hulbert admits he's never towed that many cars in one day before; he said it took him at least eight hours to tow all the cars. Each driver had to pay cash, netting him more than $6,600.

37. Towing companies where I live can legally steal your car.

They can tow it and not even tell you where it is. There is a lot of collusion between law enforcement/businesses and towing companies. I lost a car once because it was towed and I could never find out where it was. A corrupt apartment owner conspired with a towing company to tow cars from the apartment parking lot and not tell you where it was towed. When the police were contacted they said they don't get involved in those kind of cases. I responded, 'Are you saying it's OK for a towing company to steal your car" and he never answered.

Towing companies are the slimiest people on the planet, next to tea baggers, conservatives, right wing radio hosts, Fox News talking heads, republicans, christian extremists, Al Qaeda, Bush & Cheney, neocons and Osama Bin Laden. They will all have their bodies towed to hell eventually.

they think it's their right. They don't realize that those spaces are reserved for a reason. I doubt it was a prank, just people who didn't want to have to walk too far.

21. If it was a prank, it's pretty screwed up. I wonder if it wasn't actually another

frat house moving a sign as a joke on the KS house - filling their lot with cars. I thought it was a bit odd that the KS house refused to comment.

Of course, if Beckheads are just too stupid to read parking signs or so selfish that they think signs don't apply to them, that wouldn't surprise me either...

or it was some longer event and Beck's speech was just part of it.
Maybe the towing guy meant there were multiple people towing and their hours added up to eight hours... or he misspoke.
