Appeals Court Upholds $20,000 Fine Against Orly Taitz
The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals has rejected Orly Taitz's appeal of the $20,000 fine imposed on her for making frivolous filings in a long-running Birther case.

"We have fully considered Taitz's arguments," the ruling from a three-judge panel reads. "We find them unpersuasive and therefore affirm the district court's sanctions judgment."

A federal judge in Georgia imposed the sanction on Taitz in October, blasting her for, among other things, using "the courts as a platform for a political agenda disconnected from any legitimate legal cause of action."

Ok...I am probably a day late and a dollar short -- as usual -- but I did not know that Orly got burned on her appeal. This happened about two weeks ago. Posting it for those who like me had not heard this. Besides -- never too late to post good news!

:hi:

1. This is so unfair! My cousin has a friend whose brother knows a guy who
overheard two people in a bar saying they saw Attorney General Holder meeting secretly in a bus station snack bar with several judges from the 11th Circuit! And there's new evidence on the internet that the person who found Obama's most recent birth certificate in Kenya was arrested by Interpol on a trumped-up charge of international heroin smuggling, and the birth certificate mysteriously disappeared from his hotel room!
