Gun rallies on 4/19/10..................

Is anybody else worried these gun rallies in VA. and DC on April 19th could get out of hand? And what should be done about it?

Now, what is the proper course of action when a large group of armed right wingers march on or in our Capital on the anniversary of the Tim McVeigh bombing and the Waco tragedy? This IS a question, not a statement. I'm actually not sure WHAT should be done about it, but I AM concerned and I did wonder what other DUers think.

5. D.C. is federal territory and a president is not limited by posse comitatus in using military force.

8. Well, I personally have come to the conclusion....................

that the military should at least be on alert.

Also since carrying a weapon is illegal in DC, the group that plans to be IN DC should be monitored by the DC police for weapons.

have special meaning to them. It was the date of the Waco incident and the Tim McVeigh bombing of the Federal building in OKC. The meaning of the date to them is what has me MOST worried.
