In an amazing video from last Friday’s House Armed Services Committee, Congressman Hank Johnson (D-GA) worries that Guam may tip over if the military sends more troops to be stationed there. He says: “My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.”

He delivered the concern straight and seriously, and to the credit of the other guy, he responded without saying "WTF, dumbass?".

It wasn't an exaggeration or a gag. I was hoping against hope the guy was a republican, but no. It was as clueless and as bad as anything I've seen Palin or Beck do. It hurt to watch it.
