Chuck Todd is an idiot. I so dislike that stupid commercial for his show, the one where he says, "I wish every day was election day". That fucking pisses me off. Really? Cause right now, this bullshit that we have going on with Republicans stalling and Democrats playing to the center right and their big money campaign financiers...that is what happens when every day is fucking election day asshole!!

That is the reason we are in such a mess. Politicians are doing shit to get elected or re-elected not to lead the country for the good of the majority. Todd want that to be constant so that he can have his jollies off all the time.

once in the beginning and once later on in the program. He referred to Rush as a walrus both times he brought up the subject with his guests. That asswart Chuck Todd tried to say that this kind of talk has always been around but it's just that more attention is being paid to it now. Chuck really went to bat for the RW noise machine but he knew he wasn't selling it to Tweety. Tweets shot down that line of crap right away. He was truly appalled that Rush was using the kind of language reserved for govts. like Stalin's Russia or Saddam's Iraq. He kept saying that he had never heard of an American presidential administration referred to as a regime even during the worst partisan fighting in the country.

Tweety seems to be aghast at the level of vitriol and intentional coded labels being thrown around by the RW toward the President. People like Chuck Todd who obtusely deny the phenomenon are doing a disservice to the public they are supposed to be representing as the eyes and ears on our government. The truth is that one side of the national debate - the opposition party - has gone completely out of control and are acting like lunatics. We had an election and they lost. There aren't two equal sides to this partisan warfare and that's a fact. That Todd and the toadies he works with continue to portray this as same-old-same-old is evidence of their incompetence, laziness, bias, ass-kissing and access-seeking-at-all-costs.

When rubbing elbows became more important than journalism and people like Tim Russert and
Andrea Mitchell (to name a very few) became high-earning celebrities in their own right, all bets were off as far as the adversarial relationship that should exist between the press and those in power. The media "rock stars" tasted their own power and liked it and so they abdicated their responsibilities.
