Where was this concern for "fiscal responsibility" from the Teabaggers....
...when Bush and Cheney were taking a record surplus and turning into a record deficit?

I guess when a black Democrat is President, fiscal responsibility is suddenly a priority. :sarcasm:

1. I guess paying for the Iraq War on the 'supplemental' spending charge card doesn't count. nt

6. It probably is hard to talk when your mouth is full of a republican scrotum
full of shriveled testes and a pair of socks. Besides "Reagan proved that deficits don't matter."

8. Exactly. And the democratic president will be more fiscally sound. They always are.
When repukes get into power they deficit spend in order to cause a crisis...so they can sink government in the bathtub.

11. it has nothing to do with his being black. they did the same thing to clinton.
then again, some people did refer to clinton as the "first black president"....

but you're right, going back to when they started ragging on carter for his deficits, the whole "fiscal responsibility" crap has been strictly a one-way street for them.

13. Professional grass roots astroturf groups are activated when Democrats
are allowed to assume power. When the right wing needs them, it steps up the funding. This stoking of flames to protect private profits has gotten worse and worse.

And yet we didn't have any more liberal TV media to take on Rachel's quest to expose just how much of that "genuine" teaparty uproar was professionally financed and encouraged to take shape.

After the Bush Crash and the Bush Bailout, the right wing needed a major diversion from dismal republican failures. They didn't want the bankrupted evicted citizenry cursing at the outgoing Bush Cheney Gang. So they callously used every slimy tool to stir up poisonous fear and hatred and direct it away from the GOP.

Harball right wing PR is in play so brazenly these days.

14. They can promote any falsehood
with a reasonable hope that it will be repeated endlessly.

Just as with the ACORN misinformation operation.

The entire American M$M now promotes the idea that the American electorate is indistinguishable from the Teabaggers. We know nothing could be further from the truth.

Even this morning the host of C-Span's Washington Journal read a highlighted segment of an article that suggested the Tea Party reflected the sentiments of the American people. And C-Span is supposed to be the very representation of objectivity.

Tell me I'm only having a bad dream and just need to wake up.

15. Yeah! But Bush/Cheney was 'Murka! Obama is teh Guvmint!
It's un-patriotic to criticize the Republican President, and the highest form of patriotism to make socialist/fascist shit up about a Democratic President! This is the essence of non-partisanship!
