Two Stanislaus State Students make Bill O'Reilly spin on the factor over Sarah Palin
April 2, 5:36 PM | Modesto Progressive Examiner | Patrick Patterson
In the introductions, Bill O'Reilly shows his ignorance of the California State University system by referring it California State University as if it was only one university. They did show the symbol of Stanislaus State, but no mention of Stanislaus or Turlock at the intro.
O'Reilly and Karl Rove are taking turns taking shots at President Obama. Hearing Karl Rove calling on someone else to tone down their rhetoric, as he did to the Democratic National Committee, is the very definition of the word irony.
Rove said that he had a dinner with 500 people in Modesto, as he outlined his book tour in California. That is not too surprising, as Stanislaus County is a conservative area in California.
O'Reilly has two students on his show. The first student feels that instead of Palin it should be someone associated with the community or the school. O'Reilly says she is doing 'good for the school by bringing out money.' He asks if they would protest Howard Dean. She said yes.
The second student objects because she feels that people should be brought together. O'Reilly gets condescending. Asks if she would invite Sting.
O'Reilly invokes the facebook page, and brings up the vitirolic anti-Palin comments. The students tell him they delete them when they have time. He begrudglingly acknowledged that.
