She is the one who recommended Obama for the summer internship in Chicago where Michelle Robinson was his supervisor.

It was her father's law firm and Prof. Minnow (the daughter) told her father he needed to hire this young man as he was - in all her years of teaching - the smartest student she had ever had.

That remark got my attention when I read it back when Obama first decided to run.

Being the smartest student a Harvard Law Professor had ever had seemed like quite the distinction.

I always remember that when I hear some freeper has said Obama isn't smart enough to make a speech without somebody else writing it and putting it on a teleprompter.
