"Early morning, April 4...
Shot rings out in a Memphis sky,
Free at last, they took your life,
They could not take your Pride"
U2 - Pride (in the name of Love)

January 15, 1929 - April 4, 1968

Rest in Peace, Brother Martin

Let us never forget

8. One small thing...
The assassination took place just after 6 p.m., not early in the morning.

But I imagine that hundreds of years from now, people will remember the song lyric better than the fact. Which is a pity. Oh well.

Rest in peace indeed.

9. Whether they remember it to be morning or evening, they will remember MLK
and that is the important thing. He was one of the best men ever to live and he will be remembered long after you and I are gone.
