One man come in the name of love
One man come and go
One man come, he to justify
One man to overthrow
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
One man caught on a barbed wire fence
One man he resist
One man washed on an empty beach.
One man betrayed with a kiss
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
(nobody like you...)
Early morning, April 4
Shot rings out in the Memphis sky
Free at last, they took your life
They could not take your pride
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love...

Happy Easter to our Christian brothers and sisters at the Democratic Underground. And, for all of us, today offers an opportunity to reflect upon two other events. It was 43 years ago that Martin Luther King, Jr., delivered one of the greatest American speeches, “A Time to Break Silence (Beyond Vietnam); and 42 years ago that King was murdered. I wish you, your family and friends a great day.
My wife is a Christen, and so some of us may attend church with her. Then, I think that some of our children will be building a fire, for a sweat lodge ceremony. My younger son has collected some interesting rocks from across the northeast, and we will take the time heat them out near the pond, then spend a period together inside the lodge.
Then, we will break bread together, and after that, my sons and I will probably spend some time working on their book. One of my cousins was here on Friday, taking photographs of some of our artifacts for their book. It looks to be a bit over 300 pages now, and I think that they will be finishing it up before summer. Then, off to the printer!
Enjoy this day.
