This is chilling.
I received this email today with the subject line 'this is chilling'. The person who sent me it is a friend/acquaintance and I really don't think she has a clue what the separation of church and state is. Or that someone can believe in God and also believe in the separation of church and state. What's chilling is how people are so easy to manipulate.

This should have been our wake up call as it really did happen. It was in the news papers. We had best heed the call and find our knees on the floor and our voices reaching up to GOD loud and clear.

In 1952, President Truman established one day a year as "National Day of Prayer."

In 1988, President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May of each year as the National Day of Prayer.

In June 2007, (then) Presidential candidate Barack Obama declared that the USA was no longer a Christian nation.

This year, President Obama, canceled the 21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House under the ruse of "not wanting to offend anyone"

On September 25th 2009, from 4 am until 7 pm, a National Day of Prayer for the Muslim religion was held on Capitol Hill, beside the White House. There were over 50,000 Muslims that day in DC.

I guess it doesn't matter if "Christians" are offended by this event - we obviously don't count as "anyone" anymore.

The direction this country is headed should strike fear in the heart of every Christian, Especially knowing that the Muslim religion believes that if Christians cannot be converted they should be annihilated.

This is not a rumor - Go to the website to confirm this info: http://www.islamoncapitolhill.com/

Pay particular attention to the very bottom of the page: "OUR TIME HAS COME"

I hope that this information will stir your spirit.

The words of 2 Chronicles 7:14

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven
and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

We must pray for our nation, our communities, our families, and especially our children.

They are the ones that are going to suffer the most if we don't PRAY!

May God have mercy...IN GOD WE TRUST.

Please pass this on, maybe someone, somehow can figure out a way to put America back on the map as it was when we were growing up, a safe place to live and by the Ten Commandments and Pledge of Allegiance, etc!

Anti-Muslim, anti-Obama, complaining about the poor Christians not counting...

This morning, the Obamas attended the Allen Chapel, AME Church, in Southeast Washington’s Ward 8. They took communion.

The 9th Commandment.

Thou shalt not bear false witness.

And Jesus said, Forgive them for they know not what they do.

Happy Easter.

9. It's okay to kill Muslims, because, well, they're Muslims!
If some other country were treating Christians the way that the US has treated Muslims (either directly or indirectly), Christians in this country would be up in arms demanding that we step in and do something about it.

13. There is. The presidential proclamation signed that year again.

The difference was that Obama didn't host something for it in the White House.

Not that those who send this nonsense around understand the point.....

15. You don't understand. As a white male christian I'm fed up with being dicriminated against in
this country. I can't count the times when I've been refused service in restaurants, been treated as a second-class citizen by government officials, ignored by the media, pulled over and harassed by cops just because I'm white, denied a job simply because I didn't have the social network that the black Muslim candidate had, and had to put up with massive amounts of Muslim and Hindu religious imagery being "forced down my throat" during religious holidays. Hell, they've even begun to print their religious slogans on our currency.

I've reached a breaking point and I'm not going to take it anymore.

17. This is when I fantasize
they actually would secede, form their own JesusLand, and leave the rest of us alone. They can believe Noah had dinosaurs on the Ark, stone "sinners" and non-believers to death, etc. Of course they'd have to raise their own money (which they'd have to print too) for roads, bridges, etc. but Jesus will undoubtedly provide.

19. Geez...
Here's what Obama said, not just that little snippet: “Whatever we once were, we’re no longer a Christian nation. At least not just. We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, and a Buddhist nation, and a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.”

And, it was not a "National Day of Prayer for the Muslim religion" It was called The "Islam on Capitol Hill Prayer Service", which was held on public grounds with the proper permit.
