http://my.auburnjournal.com/detail/146080.htmlMy luck this week has been astounding!
As I sat in the Starbucks on the corner of Sierra College and Rocklin Road this morning, waiting for my son to arrive for an early morning chat, I found this "Strategy Letter" just laying there next to an empty cup of tea that had two bags in it.

Dear Tea Party Activists,
We have reached a level of attention not seen in American Politics since the revolution itself. As big, massive government takes over our auto industry, our health care industry, our banking industry, we find ourselves joined together to stop them.
The two party system has become a tool of corporate, union, and international special interests. Huge sums are contributed to the elected officials, and regardless of party they appear to have one thing in common... more government control over our lives.
Lets face it, government is a necessity, but how much? Nobody is saying we do not need government, but many of us are saying we need to follow the constitution, and limit the scope and size of the federal government significantly.
The debt is crushing our economy and our children's future. The solution to economic hard times, is for the government to get out of the way, rather than increase taxes and take on newer, bigger entitlements.
Beware of those who pretend to be helping you, but will put you into submission once they achieve power.
The Tea Party has an opportunity. Help conservatives get elected. Regardless of party affiliation, if they are conservative, help them. If they are liberal, look at who is running against them and help the most conservative win.
In the short term, the best we can hope for is a divided government. Divided government, is weaker than a united government. We have to break the one-party rule in Washington. This is our first priority, and our highest priority. Then, we need to pare out the most liberal members of each party so that over time, regardless of which party is in power, conservatives rule.
Best wishes to you all, and be sure to attend a rally on April 15th. The Tea Party is here to stay, not as an official party, but as a party of the people!
