I'm gonna bookmark this site, I know a threat against President Obama will show up here eventually. As I was typing that previous statement I found this, anybody want to help dig through the rest of the site for potential threats?:

I don't see a threat against Obama personally.


I'm not saying any of what's there is OK, just that it's rather vague in the context of that post, as a lot of that site is also just generally Anti Liberal.

I mean, they could very well be talking about bullets in OUR skulls for all we know.

Anything that might be there in context gets reported to the FBI or Secret Service?


If I see someone throw a lit match out the window that might start a fire, do I call the fire department?

If I see someone who might steal something from a store, do I call 911?



I think the FBI and/or Secret Service have enough to do dealing with people who have made actual threats against without people reporting things that "might be there in context".


That site looks like nothing more than a bunch of RW crazies having a rant fest. If people actually want to waste their time looking for incriminating statements, then I say go right ahead. I personally would just send a general alert to the FBI/Secret Service and let it go at that.

The ones I worry about are the ones who DON'T have an outlet for discharging their venom.

Those are the ones who tend to save it up till it boils over and then tragedy happens. How many times has it happened already...someone does something awful or outrageous and friends, neighbors, family are all surprised because the perpetrator never gave a sign.

RW nutbags posting away on a site? Bah. Most of them wouldn't have the balls to follow up on the tough talk.


And, like you, I have better things to do than monitor other sites for crazy talk.
