Fla. Father, Son Charged In '03 Idaho Rape
DNA Evidence Leads To Break In Case, Prosecutors Say

BOISE, Idaho -- A long-haul trucker from Florida and his adult son are being charged in the 2003 kidnapping and rape of an Idaho woman after DNA evidence linked them to the crime.

Hans Michael Holsopple, 46, of Deltona, Fla., was charged Thursday in 4th District Court with kidnapping and rape.

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of his 26-year-old son, Douglas James Steinemer, to face the same charges.

Steinemer, also of Deltona, Fla., is in a Florida jail because of a drug case and Idaho authorities say they will extradite him to Idaho after the drug case is resolved.

Deputy Prosecutor Jean Fisher told the Idaho Statesman they would get Steinemer back to face the charges as soon as possible. She said DNA was "the huge break in this case."

Officials said the woman was kidnapped at knifepoint from the Walmart parking lot in Mountain Home, raped several times in a semi truck and dumped on the side of Interstate 84 about 13 miles from the Oregon border.

gee you mean this (these) guys had to force a woman to have sex, to be raped, to show their manhood. Too bad they can't get a girl friend. Must be butt ugly and had a tiny one.

Uh-uh. It was about violence. Power. Control. But yeah, you're right about it being about proving manhood. Because some guys have very twisted notions of what manhood is about. Apparently some even believe rape is a father-and-son activity.
