Sorry, but I take this seriously. The thread is about a group's effort (actually, it appears to be one person) to get liberals to crash tea parties and do things to make teabaggers look more ignorant than they already appear. Something about the site doesn't fell authentic. The person just seems to be trying to hard to prove liberal credentials.

What better way to deflect from all the racism and hatemongering then to prove that it was the fault of liberal infiltrators all along? Even the polls show the tea party hasn't many allies among the public at large, so what better way to win them back? We already know the press would take their claims seriously. On the other hand, if the effort is sincere and legitimately progressive, it's a HORRIBLE idea. Wouldn't it serve only to prove the "infiltrator" theory and therefore excuse all of their negative behavior?

If anyone is good at research and digging on the web, please consider looking into the site's origins. It could be a story. Bottom line: it sounds like something a teabagger would do, and definitely something with which a true progressive wouldn't bother.

I suspect you are right. The humor is just so teahadist. There's very little here that makes me think 30 year old male who lives in San Francisco. (as per Facebook profile.)

However, if this is sincere, I think it's a really bad idea. Don't give them any ammo. They'll shoot themselves in both feet without any help.
