I have those same in-laws. We had dinner on Sunday, and we ate, cleaned up and left within an hour. I was so angry I was in tears, cretins!!! Every damn one of them!
We live in Az and I've decided that I'm going to make buttons to wear when I'm out in public that says something like "I do not support SB 1070" or "I don't support racial profiling" something to set me apart from the racist mother fuckers. I cant take it!!!
I was at the grocery store last night and the hispanic kid who was cashiering didn't even want to look at me, I know how that feels. My partner and I were so damn depressed the day after the election because Az had voted against gays in the Az constitution. We didn't know who among our friends and family had voted against us, you just feel so alone. We were at the park last night with my mom and there were two hispanic guys near us and they were fishing. My mom walked up to them and apologized. She told them that she was so sorry and that she doesn't support this bullshit. They thanked her and talked for awhile. They seemed very relieved to hear that.

I live next door in New Mexico. I know there are undocumented aliens here, but I haven't noticed any big problems with most of the undocumented aliens who came here to work.
