A question about a border fence between AZ and Mexico.

Can only the federal govt. authorize the building of a border fence?

Can't the state of AZ authorize it and subsidize the cost to build it?

Not that I'm in favor of this....just need some info for a heated debate...

Not in California, New Mexico, or Texas. I'm not favor of it either, but AZ can only build a fence along the AZ border.

4. Okay, so Brewer can authorize this...

My conservative bosses have been spouting off all day about why Obama didn't finish the fence...cause all Mexicans are Democratic liberals...even those illegal aliens that are allowed to vote (??)...and Obama didn't want to lose his Mexican/illegal alien votes.

At that point, I had to ask why Brewer isn't building one as we speak.

Then I got the hell outta there....I was getting too pissed off.

5. Yes, but it wouldn't stop people from going around the fence and coming

in to AZ, unless they built a fence around the entire state.
