Republicans fold like a cheap suit...

After all their bluster and Frank Luntz talking points, the Republicans finally surrendered on the financial reform debate. For three days, they had illusions they could do the same trick they did with healthcare reform. They all held hands and voted against debating anything about Wall Street reform.

But, in the end, they decided to cut their losses and stop blocking the debate. They still don't want it but it was a political bomb waiting to blow up in their faces, and a few of them knew it. So they folded.

Now, today, they are attempting to spin it as if that was their plan all along. They were simply trying to get the Democrats to compromise with a few of their ideas. :-) These people are as fake as a three-dollar bill.

Why in the world would we even listen to the Cons' suggestions?

The Cons drilled and dug this hole we are in.

Their agenda was transparent:
1) Obstruct all Democratic action
2) Protect the Money Changers

A part of me with they would. Not that I'm opposed to reform (I favor it strongly), but it would really make people think twice about voting Republican.

7. Read the article in the Washington Post

it certainly reads that way. It is making them the heroes trying to reform Wall Street and the Banks. This is the news the people get no wonder they think Democrats are causing all the trouble.

I will say this we have one of the most crooked, corrupt, partisan media organizations in the world. They are so up the republican butt they are falling all over them selves to give them best status. AND IT IS THE DEMOCRATS FAULT. ALL THE HAD TO DO WAS REINSTATE THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE.
