Won't Take Long To Peg Kagan Once She Joins the SCOTUS...

There is no doubt that one of the cases the SCOTUS will hear addresses the extent of Executive/Presidential power.

Her vote is essentially the Stevens vote of the past. Any variation from the past votes of Stevens will be magnified in the decisions handed down.

And it will be at that time we will know what we have inherited with Kagan as a SCOTUS Justice.

1. She may be more liberal than he on some issues, more conservative on others.

She also may have more influence on those in the critical center of the Court. I don't think one case will be enough to peg her.

2. Likely the court will decide to limit Presidential power because Obama is president!

The activist right wing majority on this court will rule one way for Republican presidents and another for Democrats - as we saw in Bush vs. Gore.

Just like Roberts, Alito, and Scalia, once they're on the bench, it's too late to do anything about it.

We cannot take a chance, especially in light of the "foreign corporations can buy elections" decision. This is not a game.
