I laugh when I read this
letter to the editor. From the letter
Democrats tried to use legal trickery to steal the election in Florida by changing the rules of the election while votes were being counted. The Supreme Court stopped that.
The Patriot Act saved countless Americans and, when pressed, the George W. Bush haters couldn't produce cases of abuse or misuse of the tenants of the act.
It was Bill Clinton who ignored the Islamic extremist threat for eight years, not President Bush. Remember the Cole bombing, two embassies and the first Twin Tower attack?
Tax breaks have historically grown the economy by invigorating the market. Look at U.S. history, with Ronald Reagan's tax cuts and John F. Kennedy's before that. Each was followed by historic long-term economic growth.
A Democratic mayor and governor botched the critically important first-responder phase of the Katrina disaster. School buses sat idle instead of evacuating people and a sports arena was not ready to serve evacuees per the city plan.
Now for $3 trillion everyone is forced to buy insurance, may not be able to pick their doctor, and perhaps can look forward to a death panel which determines when "you've lived enough,"
Only a fool or a blind man could see anything else.
Except what the writer fails to realize is that he is the fool for believing that.
