Why do I feel that the Bushes with all their money are very cheap, the dress being outer wear, which is seen and the underwear doesn't have to be that fancy because no one is seeing it. But we are seeing it because it makes her fancy outer clothes look dumpy.

I'm not that up on fashion etiquette, but I do somewhat remember that if a queen or someone of higher social status than you is dressed in certain accessories, like gloves, you too should wear them.

41. The queen always wears a tiara at state dinners.
I remember when she came over back in the Reagans' day and they were showing them on PBS and Robert MacNeil (formerly of MacNeil/Lehrer Report) was reporting live from the ballroom or whatever, while they were seated and almost starting.

They turned out almost all the lights and you could STILL see the Queen's tiara sparkling in the dark on the TV. Seriously big high quality cubic carbon, obviously. I remember that distinctly. Also because I always thought Robert MacNeil was a cool guy.

And this one needs to have a lavish white tie dinner.
