Hissyspit's B*ttload of D.C. Pics Thread #1 - "This Is What Democracy Looks Like" (DIAL-UP WARNING)
Edited on Tue Jan-30-07 08:06 PM by Hissyspit
Apology for the delay on these, but I only got home Sunday night to my laptop and didn't have access to a computer before then, so I'm only just getting these posted. DUers who marched, missed meeting or re-meeting many of you at the organizational point, but the Metro was crazy and I showed up a bit late. It was a great day, though. Here's some documentation. Enjoy! - Hspit

5. Thanks, I had not seen those.
Have been real busy editing the photos and cleaning up after the cats who stayed home for three days.

7. Geoff Millard is the Iraq Vet arguing with some right-winger.
And the guy in the middle of the Appeal To Redress banner is the vet who started it with another vet, who may be in the photo, too, but I've forgotten their names.

9. Stop making me cry!!

I'm talking about your peaceful children; twirler and especially the child in the generations set. She is the peace march.

Wanted to add that the vet in your debating Iraq veteran picture has sewn his flag upside down. We should listen to those who have been there.

11. Yeah, I noticed the upside-down flag, too. I believe that is Geoff Millard.

Crying is good if it is true, not false sentimentality.

10. What a fine-looking bunch of Americans!
I know we put too much emphasis on looks sometimes, but sometimes the nobility that is inside makes itself plain on the outside. Just looking at these folks, don't you feel you'd rather spend a day with any one of them than even a minute with Our Glorious Leader?
