Street Smarts; Diebold is now a verb that means "to steal"
As I was driving from N.E. Ohio yesterday I heard a local sports talk station
w/ 2 former African American NFL players use the term "Diebold" as a verb
that means to steal.

If you where to steal one's good name or honor somebody got "diebolded" or you
could "diebold" one's girl friend or wife.

No matter how much the media has tried to sell the story that bush got re-elected
because some large block of voters in Ohio suddenly got concerned about the
scary thought of gay marriage or that the Amish turned out in record #s people know
the truth.

9. +1
By nature I'm skeptical of theories like this, but that plane crash was just too convenient.

6. I like this one:
Diebolded 32 up, 1 down

An election or contest in which the least likely candidate achieves victory due to a questionable or fraudulent electronic voting system is said to have been "Diebolded". It shares no common etymology with "de-balled", although it means essentially the same thing for democracy.
