They've never met a war they didn't like. Check out all the threads at Red State or Free Republic advocating withdrawl.

And an 'immediate' departure wouldn't happen in time anyways. Election day is less than 40 months away.

Which can be used to put back into the hands of the American people and boost the economy. The trillions spent on unnecessary wars is what is killing the economy. That main issue being the economy would turn and in turn imporve the feelings of people towards Obama.

The war economy will never look like it did in the 30 and 40's which they want us to believe. The work programs is what got us out of the depression and the new deal. If they truly want to end the deficits then why not make a national building spree work programs like FDR? The need for new infrastructure is wildly needed and can be achieved through hard work and initiative from people in government. A building of light rail systems could ease transportation costs and decrease air pollution etc. The trillions on the war need to be put into our hands so we can get us out of the recession, and the taking money away from us aka no more unemployment checks is hurting even more.

You need money to spend money in order to create jobs. When that money is bein thrown into the ME, it is not creating jobs or being helpful at all.
